The Indian Market and Pow Wow at the historic Fort in Morrison, Colorado attracts some of the foremost Native American artists every year. They come to show their wares and demonstrate their crafts, while respected experts in the field judge their works in the market contest. A contest Pow Wow fills the valley below, while dancers and drummers share their heritage and show their skill in competitions of traditional, shawl, fancy, frass and jingle dancing.

Getting There

Road: From Boulder take Highway 93 south to Sixth Avenue. Sixth Avenue East to Colfax then Colfax to I-70 west. I-70 west to C-470, the Colorado Springs exit (exit no.260). C-470 to Highway 285 south, the Fairplay exit. At that point you will be in the mountains. Travel 1.5 miles up Highway 285 to your first exit that reads Highway 8 Morrison Evergreen exit.
